WHAT SHOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT SIMPLEPAY PAYMENT SYSTEM?

The SimplePay Online Payment System is developed and operated by OTP Mobil Ltd. OTP Mobil Ltd. is a member of the OTP Group and has an extensive service portfolio in the field of electronic and smart device-based commerce. Its products can be found on the market under the Simple brand name. Currently, it offers two main services:

SimplePay Online Payment System: Customers who use the service can choose SimplePay's simple and secure payment solution when making online purchases. In this case, they can make their payment on the SimplePay platform in the usual way. The payment process is the same as the payment procedure offered by banks for similar services. During the service, SimplePay continuously monitors transactions, keeping the user's, i.e., the cardholder's security in mind and providing assistance in preventing unexpected events.

Simple Mobile Application: The Simple mobile application is a Hungarian-developed application that combines mobile shopping with many services that make life easier. You can buy a parking ticket, a highway vignette, a movie ticket, and choose from many other services within a single mobile phone application. The download is free, and it can be installed on smart devices and tablets running on Android, iOS, and Windows Phone platforms.

Simple's two services operate independently of each other. In the following, you will find information about the SimplePay Online Payment System and online shopping.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS OF THE TRANSACTION?

By clicking on the "Pay" button, you will be redirected to the SimplePay payment page where you can initiate the transaction by providing your credit card details.

After providing the card details, please verify their accuracy.

The transaction will start processing in the banking processing systems.

You will receive a notification via email regarding the payment result, and you will be redirected back to the service provider's page. Note that for Maestro and Visa Electron cards, the card issuer determines whether the card can be used for online transactions. Our system can only accept these cards if the issuer has authorized their use for online payments.

SECURITY

During online payment, after providing the requested data during the order, the buyer is redirected from the webshop's payment preparation page to the secure payment page of SimplePay, where they need to enter the necessary card details for payment. The merchant does not have access to the data content of the SimplePay payment page, as it is an independent and secure website.

WHAT TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHEN MAKING A PAYMENT?

Paying with a bank card

• Internet payment, just like payment with a traditional POS terminal, is free of charge for cardholders.

• Nowadays, it is also possible to pay on the internet with a Maestro bank card. For details, please inquire with your issuing bank.

• Card companies protect the interests of cardholders, so if you make a purchase with a card and the merchant does not deliver, you can file a complaint with your issuing bank, and if your complaint is justified, you will get your money back.

• The identification of cardholders is served by the 3-digit verification code located on the signature panel of the card - which is also called CVC2 or CVV2 - (the 3-digit verification code can be found after the card number or the last four digits of it). • It increases security if you request an SMS service from your bank, which will immediately notify you of any changes in your account.

• When withdrawing cash or making purchases, never give out your four-digit PIN code for internet payments, and make sure not to disclose your card number and expiration date to unauthorized persons!

• Always log out of the website after making a purchase and payment! This is particularly important if you are using a computer that is also used by others. To protect your data, we recommend that you purchase from your own computer and avoid public internet cafes and hotspots!

• Please be extra careful when verifying your information via email, as it is becoming increasingly common in Western Europe and the United States for unauthorized individuals to try to obtain information via email.

• If you are asked to update your information - even by merchants where you have previously made purchases - be cautious, as unauthorized individuals may act on behalf of the merchant. In such cases, please contact the merchant in the usual way to verify the sender.

• It may also be suspicious if you receive a letter regarding an excessively favorable offer, a prize draw, or the cancellation of a product that you have never ordered.

• Credit card companies do not contact cardholders directly via email or phone! If you receive an email or phone call on behalf of a credit card company informing you that unauthorized individuals have obtained your credit card information, please do not provide your information and immediately notify your card issuer. • One advantage of online shopping is that you can easily compare prices of similar products, making it easy and quick to choose the best offer for you.

• Before placing an order - especially for the first time - please check the information related to the online store (how long it has been in operation, how reliable the company is, whether the mandatory general contact information required by law is provided on the website, such as address and phone number).

• Internet companies build in numerous security features into their online stores to protect their customers. The security logos of major credit card companies (e.g. MasterCard SecureCode) and other encryptions such as SSL codes all indicate that the online merchant has taken necessary steps to ensure secure online shopping.

• The communication encryption is indicated by the "https" in the URL address and the padlock icon in the bottom right corner of the page or the key icon in the bottom left corner, clicking on which will display security certificates.

• It is recommended to save or print out your order, payment confirmation, the information provided during payment, and the product description of the ordered item for each purchase.

• It is useful to read the terms and conditions of the online store at the time of ordering, as in case of quality issues with the ordered product or service, it is helpful to know how long you have to file a complaint, under what conditions you can cancel your order, and when and how you can get your money back. • If you choose this payment method, the customer will transfer the purchase amount directly to OTP Mobil Kft.

• Our system can only accept bank transfers in HUF.

• Service operation: The customer selects the bank transfer payment option in the merchant's online store, SimplePay sends the details of the transfer to the customer by email. The customer settles the debt using bank transfer on their own e-banking interface. SimplePay immediately notifies the Merchant when the transfer is received, who fulfills the order.
